Michael has worked as a Financial Planner since 2005. Working for 2 large banks and 2 smaller advice businesses running the Financial Planning divisions. He has also led a team of 10 Advisers across a large geographical area.

He loves working in the financial planning industry as he believes we can really make a difference in what can happen in our clients’ lives. He has always gone above and beyond in helping his clients. The most rewarding experience is when you can bring a client's future forward and explain to them that we can help them get on track to be comfortable in retirement. He states the earlier they see us the bigger difference we can make.

In his spare time, Michael can normally be found maintaining his 65-acre property in Lake Macquarie. He also spends a lot of time on the weekend with his wife Clair and daughter Ivy competing at Horse Dressage events around NSW. They have a fur family of 3 horses, 2 dogs, and a cat at home.

Greg Nuttall

Greg is interested in joining Invest Blue because of the options for retirement and possibly better work-life balance.

He previously worked as a Financial adviser for 15 years with Finance experience for over 25 years. Additionally, he worked as a Software development and Business Analyst for over 35 years. Greg also has a passion for technology and how the 2 industries interact.

His career spans information technology and advice, and has been amazing to be involved in both areas and bringing technology into the conversation with clients. He states it has been very powerful to use the technology skills to demonstrate strategies on the fly using Excel or other calculators written for the purpose of demonstrating value.

His first 2 years as an adviser, having moved interstate to take up the role, was hard work but was rewarded by being the highest new adviser in the region. Recently achieving the “Most Trusted Adviser” designation was very satisfying for him, this because most advisers do not necessary get this positive feedback or at least is much better for clients to have provided positive feedback to a 3rd party that has no vested interest.

He loves working in the financial planning industry because he likes to help others reach their financial goals and build relationships along the way.

During his spare time, Greg loves to maintain his 65-acre property and access roads. Run his software business and write software in Microsoft technologies; keep bees, and lead a group of scouts called Pathfinders in his local church.
