Invest Blue provides Financial Advice in Canberra from our Yarralumla office, located conveniently on Bentham Street.  We are equipped with a strong team of Certified Financial Planners in Canberra, as well as a dedicated Lending team who support advice and strategy development for those looking for home or investment mortgages. Our Financial Planners are backed by a knowledgeable Advice team who support the development of individual strategies as well as dedicated Relationship Managers who work hard every day keeping in touch with our clients. Jeremy Gillman-Wells is a multi-award winning and widely experienced Certified Financial Planner®. He is a regular guest speaker at investment forums and provides a financial education program for Canberra schools. He is a recognised values-based adviser and Aged Care Guru.

Prior to joining Invest Blue in 2021, Jeremy and his team built Bravien Financial for 20 years. Jeremy embodied and propelled the philosophy of the firm: to enable people to achieve their financial destiny for the reasons that are important to them. Jeremy’s success, like that of Invest Blue, is attributed to the philosophy of understanding and nurturing client needs and aspirations first, then talking their language to deliver a strategy that they can actually implement.

Jeremy maintains a passionate concern for not only technical excellence but honesty and transparency in the way clients’ affairs are managed.

This has resulted in Jeremy being recognised as a leader in retirement strategies and advice methodology. He is the National Winner of the prestigious Financial Planning Association award for Pre-Retirement Planning, National Winner of the Financial Planning Association Best Practice Award and a 3 time National Winner of Quality of Advice & Financial Planning Excellence Award.

Living in Canberra for over 30 years has allowed Jeremy to develop a strong understanding of the needs of public service employees and their families, particularly in relation to defined benefit superannuation schemes.

He loves the deep value of pro-bono advice for the Cancer Council and has been a long time supporter of the Smith Family Learning for Life Program. Jeremy has twice cycled the Future2 Wheel Classic between Sydney and Melbourne to help fundraise over $220,000 for the Future2 Foundation which supports disadvantaged young Australians. He is an avid cyclist, part-time racer and amateur video producer. He lives on a small rural property with his wife and two children.

Invest Blue's passion for helping others meets their goals as well as the encouragement and support offered to those starting out in the industry really motivated me to work for the company. I read client success stories online and at the office on the walls and knew it was the place I wanted to work.

Brandon joined Invest Blue in 2021 as an Associate. Before joining Invest Blue, Brandon graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Financial Planning. He also worked for Centrelink in face-to-face servicing helping meet customers complex daily needs. Brandon has always had a keen interest in finance and helping others.

Brandon loves working in finance as he understands finances can be stressful and being able to help minimise others stress and help them achieve their dreams is something that he has always wanted to do.

In his spare time, Brandon loves playing and watching soccer, going for walks with his kelpie and spending time with his partner. He also enjoys gaming to unwind and is a big fan of games like Call of Duty and FIFA. Music is another of Brandon’s favourite ways to unwind and is usually playing 24/7 at his house.

Alana started in Financial services with Bravien Financial as the first point of contact 8 years ago. Her experience in client service transferred brilliantly to the Business Manager role where she was responsible for keeping the well-oiled machine running – HR, training, team meetings, KPI’s, projects, marketing and coordinating all other areas of the business that allow it to function and meet clients expectations.

Prior to joining the Financial service industry, Alana spent 9 years in the hospitality industry, rising through the ranks to become General Manager of a Canberra Motel.

In her spare time, Alana loves creating memories with her partner Jarrod and their two sons - Austin and Florence. She also enjoys family getaways, travelling, playing sports, and spending lots of time with friends.

This is where her skills are honed and developed. She also has experience working in the BPO industry as a Customer Services Representative and then promoted to Team Leader.

The Financial Industry’s goals are not far from the Hospitality’s; always providing your clients with the best service so they can live their best lives. That’s why it is in her most interest to experience something new and work in the Financial Industry.
