Management Accountant

Strengths in analytics, change management, communication and stakeholder engagement will be critical. It is an opportunity to be involved in a number of projects spanning all functions of the business, contributing to the execution of those initiatives and leading other leaders through the trials of providing effective solutions, extracting value and delivering results.

The challenges that this role face include juggling multiple demands/stakeholders, negotiating for key resources, and helping to hold key leaders to account for their work in a supportive and productive way.

Key role responsibilities will be:

  • Understand and support the Strategic Direction of Invest Blue,
  • Work with team managers by providing financial analysis and supporting financial decisions,
  • Supporting the successful integration of M&A by analysing the suitability and viability of opportunities, performing due diligence, contribute to planning and assessing performance,
  • Treasury and Cashflow management
  • Oversight of the payroll and payables of the whole business,

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Financial analysis, financial modelling and accounting experience,
  • Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry and financial planning,
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and schedule work targets / activities with minimum supervision and an internal focus on control,
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders,
  • Prioritise tasks and work under pressure,
  • Strong decision-making skills,
  • Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, commerce, or a related discipline
  • Qualified Accountant (or ready to pursue an accounting qualification)
  • Current non-restricted drivers’ license for the relevant state or territory
  • Standard background checks including, but not excluded to, criminal history, bankruptcy, ASIC
