As of the 1st of September, Elevate Financial Solutions join with Invest Blue to provide financial advice.
Over the past six months, Philip and I have been reviewing how Elevate Financial Solutions operates. It has become clear that we need to increase our scale of operation as the costs of technology and ongoing compliance have increased substantially over the past 18 months.
“We have considered merging with a small group of planners to create a 2 + 2 = 5 scenario; however, we have determined that the best outcome is to fold Elevate into a very large and successful financial planning practice, Invest Blue”, says Crysta.
Who is Invest Blue?
Invest Blue has been operating for over 25 years and shares the same commitment to maintaining long-term, quality financial advice relationships with their clients, as we do.
Invest Blue is one of the largest advisory businesses within the AMP Financial Planning Pty Ltd network and operates through more than 30 locations across Australia. They have proven to be able to operate at a scale that will provide far greater efficiencies than what Elevate Financial Solutions has been capable.
They have highly developed technology solutions and a well-developed support structure that we consider vital in our profession.
Philip and I will become Invest Blue shareholders through the transaction and will continue to work with you into the future.
The Elevate Financial Solutions team will be relocating about four kilometres, to the existing Invest Blue office at Norwest (Baulkham Hills) and be part of a far larger 12 person team. You can expect the same great service from our new Invest Blue team.
Initially, our phone numbers and email addresses will remain unchanged, however, will be updated over the next few months, as we settle in.

We have chosen to link with Invest Blue for the following reasons
- Invest Blue has a history as long as Elevate’s and is a significant member of the AMP Financial Planning Pty Ltd network.This means minimal change as we will continue to work within the same advice policy environment. Your existing advice documents will remain current as there is no change to the Australian Financial Services Licence (AMP Financial Planning) through which we will operate.
- Our advice relationships will continue with little change. Your existing arrangements, plans and policies will remain in place and your ongoing Annual Advice Agreement and advice fees will continue, as currently structured.
- We have personally known many of the Invest Blue team at Norwest for over ten years and highly regard their professionalism.
- Invest Blue have invested significantly in their technology and back office support systems. We think that this will be a ‘game-changer’ going forward.
- Invest Blue is significantly owned by the employee team (which will include us) and is here for the long term.
- Invest Blue have plans to continue to grow and develop to become one of the major participants in Australia’s financial advice profession.

One of the benefits of the amalgamation is that you do not need to take any action if you wish to continue your relationship with us at Invest Blue … other than updating some contact details over the next month!
